The Sony FCB-ES8230 w/ Atomas Duo HDMI IP Kit with PoE encoder platform is for systems requiring flexibility in their configuration. This package is ready for dual-camera systems with the Sony FCB-ES8230. This attachment board provides secondary input (digital or analog) such as a thermal camera like the FLIR Boson or Tenum 640 Module.

Optical Image Stabilizer 

This function stabilizes the lens to reduce image degradation and capture high-quality images.

4K @30fps Images

The 1-type Exmor R CMOS image sensor successfully achieves superb 4K (QFHD) picture quality. The FCB-ES8230 produces high-quality, detailed images using Sony's latest sensor/lens technology in low-light conditions.  

12x Optical Zoom

The high-quality lens features an F2.8 maximum aperture and a 12x optical zoom range. Zoom operation is ideal for smooth, rapid transitions from wide area coverage to detailed close-ups in security and surveillance applications.

Image Stabilization

The Sony FCB-ES8230 features a built-in optical image stabilizer function that counters low-frequency vibrations. Applications include security monitoring and surveillance, and it ensures no compromise in image size and blur reduction. 

Advanced 2D/3D Noise Reduction

Noise reduction technology filters noise from the images for precise results, especially in low light conditions. Noise reduction settings range from six steps, and it suits a wide range of operating conditions. 

Day/Night

The benefits of optimized picture quality in changing light conditions are frequent challenges in round-the-clock security operations. The Sony FCB-ES8230 operates effectively in lighting levels low as 2lx (50IRE, ICR off, Iris Open, ACG Max (36db, when High sensitivity is off)) and 0.5 lx (50IRE, ICR off, ACG Max (36db, when High sensitivity is on)).

Visibility Enhancer and De-fog

This feature enhances Picture quality dynamically and adaptively on a pixel-by-pixel basis while continuously adapting to the scene within the given dynamic range. The de-fog features in the Sony FCB-ES8230 allow more precise viewing in foggy or misty settings. 

Auto ICR (Auto IR-cut Filter Removal)

The Sony FCB-ES8230 automatically switches from day to night mode in low light conditions; removing the IR-cut filter boosts sensitivity for clear pictures in low-light conditions.

Wide range of features for versatile operation

The Versatile Sony FCB-ES8230 camera operation ensures a wide range of functions and adjustments, including White Balance modes; Picture effects (E-Flip, Black & White, Mirror Image, Colour Enhancement, Gamma); Privacy Zone Masking; Picture freeze; Shutter Priority; Iris Priority (26 steps) Slow AE response, etc.
