Sony FCB-EV7310 Block Camera
The Sony FCB-EV7310 HD block camera uses a 1/2.8" Exmor CMOS image sensor (approx. 2.14 million effective pixels) that supports FULL HD (high definition) to produce high-quality images. Using progressive scan, images with a wide dynamic range can be obtained with the newly developed image signal processor (Wide Dynamic Range mode). This is the replacement model for Sony FCB-EH6300.
The Sony FCB-EV7310 block camera is equipped with a bright zoom lens with 20x optical zoom and F1.6 aperture (optical zoom + digital zoom = 240x).
The Sony FCBEV7310 block camera's video signals can be output as digital. Depending on register settings, you can select from a variety of digital output methods: 1080p/59.94, 1080p/50, 1080p/29.97, 1080p/25, 1080i/59.94, 1080i/50, 720p/59.94, 720p/50, 720p/29.97, 720p/25.
An infrared (IR) Cut-Filter can be disengaged from the image path for increased sensitivity in low light environments. The ICR will automatically engage depending on the ambient light, allowing the Sony FCB-EV7310 block camera to be effective in day/night environment.
VISCA is a communications protocol, which enables the FCBEV7310 to be controlled remotely from a host computer/controller. VISCA is trademark of Sony Corporation.

Capture crisp, clear Full-HD (1080/60p) images
The Sony FCB-EV7310 high-performance 1/2.8-type Exmor CMOS image sensor achieves superb Full-HD (1920 x 1080) picture quality, even in low light environments. Progressive scanning assures smoother pictures with reduced blur – ideal for capturing the detail in moving images.
Fast, bright lens with rapid 20x optical zoom
The FCB-EV7310 is equipped with a bright F1.6 maximum aperture and 20x optical zoom range. Fast zoom operation (from wide end to tele) is ideal for smooth, rapid transitions from wide area coverage to detailed close-ups in security and surveillance applications.
2D/3D noise reduction
Advanced noise reduction technology fi lters noise from the image for clearer results, especially in low-light conditions. Noise reduction can be selected from five levels on the FCB-EV7310 to suit a wide range of operating environments.

Picture quality is enhanced dynamically and adaptively on a pixel-by-pixel basis while continuously adapting to the scene within the given dynamic range.
The de-fog feature on the Sony FCB-EV7310 camera allows clearer and natural viewing in foggy or misty scenes. When this feature is activated, the camera detects the haze level and automatically applies the required eff ects. Depending on user requirements, the level of these effects can be adjusted via VISCA command.
HLC (High Light Compensation)
A great feature on the FCB-EV7310 is the HLC technology or the High Light Compensation which helps to improve, for example, the visibility of license plates when bright headlights are shot under low-light conditions. The bright parts in the image are masked and compensated for automatically to achieve better visibility.
Auto ICR (Auto IR-cut Filter Removal)
In low-light conditions, the FCB-EV7310 camera automatically switches from Day to Night mode, removing the IR-cut fi lter to boost sensitivity for clear pictures in near-darkness. The spherical privacy zone masking featureenables areas of view to be selectively masked for privacy. Masked areas are automatically interlocked with the camera’s pan/tilt/zoom movements.
Choice of HD and SD output modes
Video signal outputs are available in a range of HD (digital and analog) and SD formats, reducing integration cost and complexity by avoiding the need for additional analog/ digital converters. Video output modes on the FCB-EV7310 can be changed ‘on the fly’ during normal operation, without a hardware reboot of the camera.
One-cable connection for simpler integration
