  •  EAR99 applies to any and all InterTest Inc. manufactured and assembled systems. Systems contain numerous individual components that may apply to a variety of applications and classifications. The systems as a whole do not fall under any Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN) as designated by the United States Department of Commerce and the Bureau of Industry and Security.

Credit Application: To establish a credit line with us, please complete a credit application. Subject to approval, accounts are payable at net 30 days from the invoice date, unless otherwise stated. Credit accounts that have exceeded their net-billing terms will have new orders placed on hold until their overdue balance is paid.
Payment Terms: To set up a credit line, accounts must complete a credit application. Subject to credit approval, accounts are payable within net-30 days from the date of invoice, unless otherwise stated. The application and product price is payable upon delivery and receipt of invoice, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Forms of Payment: We accept business checks and credit cards (AMEX, VISA, MasterCard, Discover) for domestic orders only. An additional 2.5% fee will be applied to credit-card purchases. International payments must be by wire transfer, payable in USD only, and not by credit card or check. Purchases that are subject to sales tax will follow applicable laws and jurisdictions. Items eligible for tax exemption must provide a current and valid tax-exemption ID number.

Domestic orders without an established credit account must be prepaid via cash, company check, money order, wire transfer, or credit card. International orders require payment by wire transfer Invoices are considered paid when funds have cleared the originating financial institution and have credited to our account.

Pricing Policy: InterTest exclusively controls prices, discounts, specifications, and terms of sale for all of our products and services. All prices, discounts, specifications and terms are subject to change without notice. However, we will honor price quotes issued prior to the effective date of any such change — for a period of 30 days.

Price quotes can be requested by phone, fax or email. All quotes will be issued in USD, unless otherwise indicated. Sales tax, shipping charges, and handling charges are not included in price quotations.

Project Delivery and Shipping Terms:

Project Deadlines and Delivery Dates
Project deadlines, payment dates, and delivery dates will be negotiated in advance and confirmed in writing. InterTest may choose to make partial deliveries when an order can be delivered early. If the purchaser is unable to honor their written payment commitments, InterTest will be released from its obligation to deliver the order.
InterTest cannot be held responsible for late shipments when due to customer change requests, delays due to an excessively high production schedule, or delays due to machine or equipment failure or unforeseen maintenance issues. Project production schedules and shipment dates may also be affected by unforeseen manufacturing delays or equipment maintenance. All orders are non-cancellable, non-returnable and non-refundable. Customers assume the risk of product supply, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Shipping Terms
InterTest prefers these standard shippers: UPS, FedEx, and USPS. Other shippers can be arranged upon written approval. For additional shipping information, including additional carrier options, please contact our shipping department at 908-496-8008.
All shipments and deliveries will originate from our Columbia, New Jersey headquarters, unless other arrangements have been made. It is the responsibility of each shipping carrier to deliver products safely. InterTest canot be held liable for the consequences of shipping-carrier mistakes, negligence, damage, or poor service.
Shipping charges will be prepaid, as part of the total invoice cost.
Same-day shipping (on available products) has a 3pm ET deadline. Orders must be received prior to this deadline or they will ship the next business day. Same-day shipping is limited to in-stock, F.O.B. inventory, warehoused at InterTest headquarters. .

Return Policy:
Returns for Credit
We accept returns for credit under exceptional circumstances and in justified cases. In such cases, returns must be pre-authorized and issued a return-authorization number. A 20% restocking fee may apply to these transactions.
Credit decisions depend on the age, condition, and value of returned merchandise. InterTest determines refunds based on these factors and based on the original purchase price. Products must be returned to InterTest to qualify for credit. Custom products and applications are not eligible. Please note: Customers are responsible for shipping costs on returned products.

Returns for Repair or Service
In the event that a product arrives damaged and needs repair, it must be sent to the Service Department at our main office in Columbia, NJ. When return shipping the product to us. Please include the proper shipping insurance.
Once we receive your return, our technicians will evaluate the damage. Evaluations that occur out of warrantee are charged $55 (USD), irrespective of other charges, such as repairs. This evaluation is required, along with any payment arrangements, before scheduling a repair. Credit card payment is preferred and will expedite the repair process. We’ll ship completed repairs back to you using the pre-arranged shipping methods.

RMA Numbers
Please be prepared to provide the product number, serial number, and a brief description of the problem or damage to obtain an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization). Returned shipments that don’t include an RMA number may be refused or an administrative fee may be applied to the transaction.

Warranty Statement:  InterTest, Inc. guarantees our custom products by to be free from material and workmanship defects for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. Other manufacturer’s products will carry the OEM’s limited warranty, which will be supported and passed through to the purchaser. Our obligation under this limited warranty shall be confined to repair or exchange of any part, or parts that have been determined by us to be defective (under normal use and conditions, which the product was intended and designed for). “Determined by us to be defective” means that the return has been examined at our facility by one of our qualified technicians, whose judgment shall be deemed final.

This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for use. It covers all obligations or liabilities on our part, and we neither assume, nor authorize any other person or entity to assume liability for regarding the sale of InterTest equipment. Equipment that has been subject to accident, negligence, alteration, abuse, unauthorized repair, improper storage, or other misuse shall void this limited warrantee. This limited warranty accrues to the original purchaser, and cannot be assigned or transferred to any third party without express written consent from InterTest, Inc.

This limited warranty does not apply to consumable items, expendable items, or items that have received normal wear and tear; nor does it apply to product failure due to radiation, or by use outside the specified range of environmental-operating conditions.

InterTest cannot assume responsibility, either expressed or implied, when product failure or damage is due to improper equipment usage or improper interpretation of product test data. Our responsibilities and obligations, in all cases, are strictly limited to the repair and/or replacement costs outlined above. All sales will be considered final and all orders are non-cancellable, non-returnable and non-refundable.

The limited warrantee will be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Note: In the event that the equipment can not be returned to InterTest, for whatever reason, and an InterTest representative must make a warrantee assessment in the field, the customer agrees to pay for all travel and living expenses incurred by the InterTest, Inc. This includes all costs incurred by the InterTest representative in the course of making an evaluation, assessment, or to affect a warranty repair in the field.
