The Sony FCB-EV7100 features a high-performance 1/2.8-type Exmor™ CMOS image sensor and a 10x optical zoom lens, achieving superb Full HD 1080/60p (1920 x 1080) picture quality in low-light conditions. The Progressive scan feature assures smoother pictures with reduced blur, best for capturing the utmost details of images in motion.

Rapid 10x optical zoom
The Sony FCB-EV7100 high-quality lens features an F1.8 aperture and 10x optical zoom. Zoom operation is ideal for smooth, rapid transitions from wide area coverage to detailed close-ups in security and surveillance applications.
StableZoom™
The Sony FCB-EV7100 features an image stabilizer. Optical/digital zoom enhances picture quality and maintains the original horizontal angle of view; it ensures no compromise in image size and blur reduction.
2D/3D Noise Reduction
Noise reduction technology filters the image's noise for precise results, especially in low-light conditions. Noise reduction settings range from five different levels, and it suits various operating conditions.
Visibility Enhancer and De-fog
This feature enhances Picture quality dynamically and adaptively on a pixel-by-pixel basis while continuously adapting to the scene within the given dynamic range. The de-fog features in the Sony FCB-EV7100 allow more precise viewing in foggy or misty settings.
Wide dynamic range
Wide-D image processing technology allows seeing detailed, clear images in backlit or high-contrast conditions.
Day/Night
The benefits of optimized picture quality in changing light conditions are frequent challenges in round-the-clock security operations. The Sony FCB-EV7100 operates effectively in lighting levels as low as 0.35 lx (ICR on) in high sensitivity mode.
Auto ICR (Auto IR-cut Filter Removal)
The Sony FCB-EV7100 automatically switches from day to night mode in low light conditions; removing the IR-cut filter boosts sensitivity for clear pictures in low-light conditions.
Spherical privacy zone masking
Masked areas are selectively masked and automatically interlocked with the Sony FCB-EV7100 pan/tilt/zoom feature.
HD and SD output modes
Video signal outputs are accessible in HD digital and analog signal and SD formats. They reduce integration cost and complexity by avoiding the need for additional analog/ digital converters. The user can change the Video output modes during regular operation without a hardware reboot of the Sony FCB-EV7100 camera.
One-cable connection for simple integration
A single cable carries HD video signals plus VISCA communication and power supply. Integration flexibility supports both 30-pin micro coaxial (digital output) and 24-pin FFC (analog output) interfaces.
Wide range of features for versatile operation
The Versatile Sony FCB-EV7100 camera operation ensures a wide range of functions and adjustments, including White Balance modes; Picture effects (E-Flip, Nega Art, Black & White, Mirror Image, Color Enhancement); Motion Detection/Alarm; Picture freeze; Temperature readout; Slow AE response; Electronic shutter/ slow shutter; Title display/Camera mode display (English).
About the Board
The 3GSDI Interface board provides camera control for the Sony FCB EV Series of Block Cameras and HDSDI camera control for the EH Block cameras. Component and SD composite analog video outputs are available depending on the camera model. The camera video standard is coded with switches and a serial link (RS232 or TTL level), allowing control of the camera and audio settings— 6 to 12V DC power supply.
