Description
Details
The ultrasonic sing element transducer inspection device is used for flaw detection and gauging the thickness of out-of-reach pipes, beams, vessels, and fixtures. Compatible with most ultrasonic testing systems using the standard BNC connector, the carbon composite telescoping pole with a gimbal fixture at the distal end allows transducer placement and easy length adjustment. A 5 MHz x 0.375” GE Benchmark Series fingertip contact single-element transducer is included. 2.23, 3.5, or 10 MHz transducers are also available.
The pole is lightweight and easy to handle. Its no-spin pole set construction is 4.5 lbs, 93 inches (7.65 ft) collapsed length, and 276 inches (23 ft) extended length. The "shepherd" pole construction makes for superb nondestructive testing utility to reach pipes, beams, and vessels up off the ground.
