The Cavitar C400-H Weld Training Kit - Weld Mentor is a complete, ready-to-use weld visualization solution that includes a specialized weld camera integrated with a high-load articulating arm camera mount, a rugged tablet with an ergonomic positional arm, and multiple cable port adapters for plug-and-play functionality. This weld monitoring system is easy to set up and versatile, suiting weld education & demonstration, quality assurance, machine vision, content creation, and welding research applications.
The Cavitar C400-H Camera provides precise, high-resolution (1440 x 1080) pixel visuals of standard welding methods and effectively handles all primary beam welding procedures. The camera is integrated with laser illumination and cooling systems for high-temperature applications. The adjustable optics allow the camera to be tuned in an application-specific implementation for the specific job. The camera is compatible with interchangeable lens covers in glass and plastic, allowing for regular replacement to maintain consistently precise imaging.
The high-load articulating arm camera mount allows dynamic maneuverability with a 90° pivotable arm, 360° rotatable ends, and 5/8" studs on ball joints with 3/8-16 and 1/4-20 thread mounts. This mount can clamp on poles, bars, tables, benches, or desks with a 0.5" - 2" jaw range. This articulating arm allows for a one-time alignment and eliminates the need for future adjustments while consistently capturing the precisely angled view.
The Dell Latitude 7220 11.6" Full HD Rugged Tablet is built to withstand and operate inside industrial welding environments. This tablet is equipped with the Cavitar Welding Camera Software and has a touchscreen and stylus capabilities. It also offers keyboard compatibility for enhanced functionality. The DELL 7220 VESA Mount Adapter Plate integrates with the articulating mount for tablet PC, giving the tablet versatile positioning options for optimal use. This package also features a custom-engineered cable shield to prevent tension on the cables while keeping them well-maintained.
The BENFEI USB C to HDMI Adapter, and the TP-Link USB 3.0 to Ethernet Adapter, are incorporated for seamless plug-and-play capabilities. The USB C to HDMI adapter allows for video to be broadcast on larger viewing devices, while the USB 3.0 to Ethernet adapter ensures a consistent, reliable connection to the internet.
