The Clear 1:1 Advantage 

The iShot® Model E has distinguishing imaging features that meet and exceed RVI expectations. The first of its kind, the Model E uses the full potential of its 1:1 CMOS imaging sensor by displaying and saving images in the 1:1 aspect ratio. The 1:1 Model E image is not distorted or stretched to typical 4:3 or 16:9 formats, so image corner distortion is absent on the ultra-clear 4” x 4” display. 

Defects, scratches, seam lines, dust, and foreign object debris (FOD) have never been easier to identify with the iShot® Model E Video Borescopes' image enhancement features. Use quick buttons to adjust exposure, sharpness, brightness, and display effects like negative, color, monochrome, and grid filters to make image targets pop in detail for precise and clear inspection documentation. 

Large & Near Depth of Focus (DOF) Range 

The iShot® Model E’s DOF large range of 1 to 50 mm allows inspectors to see more in-focus details of bores and cavities. The near focus range as small as 1 mm allows the distal tip to almost touch the target surface yet still be able to inspect with clarity.  

Efficient, Controlled Inspections 

With direct button control for image brightness, sharpness, exposure, picture effects, zoom, and rotation, an inspector does not need to access a menu screen to make live picture adjustments. The Model E also has a quick startup and probe changing cycle – 10 seconds to release the probe from the monitor, 10 seconds to install a new probe, 10 seconds to power on and see a live image.  

Versatile and Numerous Probe Options 

The full line of Model E Video borescopes has articulating and non-articulating video borescopes probes ranging from 1.2 to 6.0 mm in outer diameter, directions of view (DOV) of direct/side/dual, and lengths from 1.0 to 5.0 meters. Non-articulating probes reach lengths of 5 to 10 meters for specific applications. Every probe is constructed with strong, resilient tungsten-braided sheathing and is compatible with a singular controller/monitor. 

The iShot® Model E Industrial Video Borescope 2.8 mm OD Side View High Resolution probe offers 720 x 720-pixel resolution and 15,000 Lux illumination, making this probe suitable for detailed small-diameter inspections. he 90° direction of view makes this system optimal for locating defects on interior walls of pipes or looking at interior orbital welds. With 4-way articulation and 2 to 80 mm DOF, this scope ensures maximum visual inspection coverage.
