Details
The Dual Illumination Viewing Accessory (DIVA) illuminates tube walls and firing pin areas of blind bores (such as mortar tubes) while using the M3 Borescope during visual inspections. The DIVA is fully compatible with the M3 Borescope and replaces the Blind Illuminating Head Assembly (ref p 1-5 and figure C-5 of the technical manual for TM-9-6650-235-13&P).
The DIVA uses both white and 365 nm UV light independently or simultaneously for inspections. DIVA’s 4 UV LEDs provide >2000 μW/cm2 on the target inspection zone as well as 4 White LEDs with >1000 lux on the target inspection zone. DIVA has a removable right-angle mirror to permit side wall bore viewing as well as forward bore viewing. The combined universal view is most efficient for detail white or UV inspections.
A pendant attaches to the electrical receptacle connector on the Adapter Tube Assembly for the M3 controls the DIVA UV and white light intensity.
