The SeeUV® MZ5™ Camera Head is a high-definition inspection camera module designed for the SeeUV® MZ5™ HD-UV Gun Tube and Large Bore Inspection System. Built for demanding remote visual inspection (RVI) applications, the camera head delivers detailed imaging of large-diameter bores used in gun tubes and other industrial components.
The camera head incorporates forward- and side-view cameras paired with ultraviolet (UV) and white LED illumination, allowing inspectors to identify surface indications during fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI) and magnetic particle inspection (MPI). Independent lighting control enables optimized visibility of cracks, pitting, and other defects within bore interiors.
High-resolution CMOS sensors deliver HD video imaging with still capture up to 13 megapixels, ensuring inspectors can document inspection findings with clarity. The camera head integrates directly with the MZ5 system’s pole assemblies, centering fixtures, and image capture software, enabling controlled inspection of large-diameter tubes and bores in maintenance, manufacturing, and quality assurance environments.
