The Sony® FE 24mm f/2.8 Prime G Lens is a full-frame, wide-angle E-mount lens ideal for shooting video and still with the Sony ILX-LR1 Industrial Camera. This superb, lightweight lens has an aspherical F2.8 aperture, ED glass for chromatic aberration compensation, and double linear motors for precise, motorized auto-focusing.

ED Glass & Aspherical Lens Elements
The lens design uses ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass and 3 aspherical elements that balance high resolution and the background "bokeh" effect while reducing chromatic aberration.
Manual and Auto Focus Options
Double linear motors allow the lens to auto-focus (AF) quickly and precisely. Along with superb tracking performance, the Prime G lens is ideal for shooting video and stills. AF is ideal for UAV applications where movement is constant, even during hovering.
There are also programmable focus-hold presets for multiple custom functions.
7-Blade Circular Aperture
The seven-blade circular aperture works with the lens optics to produce a smooth 'bokeh' effect (an out-of-focus background and natural, sharp foreground target). This aperture style avoids the unattractive polygonal shapes created by conventional flat-sided blades in other lenses.
