Football Helmet Camera
A broadcast point-of-view camera solutions company, named Inertia Unlimited needed to develop a wireless HD camera fitted to a helmet during professional football games.
Development
InterTest worked with Inertia Unlimited to collectively develop the football helmets to get a first-person point of view from the player wearing the helmet to broadcast to viewers. The camera would need to be durable yet still provide quality footage.
Solution
The InterTest solution was a helmet that integrated the specially-packaged wireless Sony HD camera. The footage captured by this unique helmet design was featured in the 2014 NFL Pro Bowl.
