Details
The Cavitar C401 Welding Camera System is an IP68-rated weld camera built for real-time quality assurance in harsh, wet, and contaminated welding environments. A sealed housing and Lemo connectors protect the camera where dust, spatter, coolant, and moisture would shorten the life of standard equipment.
Integrated laser illumination and filtered optics see through the arc, so engineers and QA teams can monitor the melt pool, seam, filler wire, and torch tip while the weld is still running. The C401 supports TIG, MIG/MAG, TIP TIG, and laser welding processes.
Built for automated and robotic welding cells, the C401 integrates into continuous production with passive or active cooling. Recorded weld video supports QA review, traceability, and customer documentation, while remote viewing keeps operators clear of arc glare, heat, and fumes.
The C401 ships with a fixed working distance set at order, specified from 150 to 300 mm to match your application.

Need higher frame rates? The C431 is a high-speed GigE version (720 x 540 at 300 fps, up to 430 fps with 2x2 binning) with the same IP68 housing. Available by quote.
