The Sierra Olympia Tenum 1280 30 Hz Long Wave IR Thermal Camera is Sierra-Olympia's smallest-pitch long-wave infrared (LWIR) camera core with impressive 1280 HD resolution. This OEM camera core is ready for integration into a finished product, whether alone or coupled with a visible spectrum camera, such as the Sony FCB-EV9520L Block Camera. The Tenum 1280 has three lens options (60º, 30°, and 21° horizontal field of view), camera integration kits, and plug-and-play enclosures.
The Tenum 1280 is an uncooled, VGA-resolution, LWIR thermal imager with a small form factor that is a significant step forward in reliability and image clarity. Its microbolometer has a 10 μm pixel pitch and exceptional sensitivity, capturing heat energy at a higher rate for a higher-quality image. The camera sensor is a 1280 x 1024-pixel sensor capable of performing at less than 30 mK (millikelvin) noise-equivalent temperature difference (with spatiotemporal filtering).
