The iShot® Model VX FOSAR Working Channel Video Borescope is the ideal remote visual inspection (RVI) device for locating and retrieving foreign object debris (FOD) in inaccessible areas. FOSAR, or foreign object search and retrieval, is critical in keeping systems free and clear of FOD to ensure system and facility operational excellence in the power generation, general manufacturing, and other heavy industries.
These FOSAR Articulating Working Channel Video Borescopes feature the iShot® Model VX hand-held monitor compatible with all Model VX probes. Its interchangeable probes with working channels bring versatility and efficiency during facility FOSAR operations. Choose from different diameters, lengths, and compatible retrieval tools for any foreign material exclusion (FME) program.
The Model VX Monitor boasts a 5-inch touchscreen that provides full HD resolution and offers a customizable user experience via its interactive menu. Features such as live image 10x magnification and image capture, along with image adjustment functions—including on-screen written annotations—facilitate comprehensive inspections and detailed data tracking. Additionally, the handheld monitor includes an auxiliary LED light on the back to illuminate the inspection access area and a detachable back stand for hands-free inspections.
This iShot® Model VX FOSAR Video Borescope has either manual or motorized four-way articulation configurations for full search and retrieval coverage. Equipped with CMOS sensors, these probes provide high-definition resolution essential for precise imaging. With 40,000 Lux illumination, a 120° field of view, and a depth of field ranging from 15mm to infinity, the Model VX FOSAR Video Borescope ensures that even the smallest defects or debris can be identified and extracted.
The following compatible iGrab™ micro-retrieval tools are specifically designed for this FOSAR Video Borescope and come with various jaw sets to securely grab and remove foreign object debris from systems and components.
