SeeUV® Flexicam HD-UV Video Probe
The SeeUV® Flexicam HD-UV Video Probe is a remote visual inspection (RIVI) system that combines an HD Color camera with ultraviolet (UV) and white light illumination housed in a flexible probe with articulation or non-articulation options. An inspector may conduct UV and white light inspections typical of fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI) and magnetic particle inspection (MPI) methods in hard-to-reach internals of critical components such as center shafts in aircraft engines.
The video probe is designed to work with either white or UV illumination, with the switchable iShot UV White LED Light Source Kit w/ Machida Adapter. The white and UV illumination is uniform across the camera's field of view, with UV intensities peaking in at 365 nm wavelength.
4-way Articulation
The 4-way articulation system allows for 180° in 4 directions, allowing effortless maneuverability within bores and cavities with nonstandard geometries. An optional Right Angle Mirror Accessory provides further access and viewing angles for hard-to-reach areas.
Articulation options use intuitive rotating control knobs to achieve movement in all directions. With manual focus and variable lens options, the SeeUV® Flexicam HD Video Probe is a dynamic system that allows for components of different sizes to be visually inspected.
The SeeUV® Flexicam HD with 4-Way Articulation uses a high-definition 1/6" CMOS 2-Megapixel image sensor housed in a robust probe configuration. With software, the camera can capture color video & still images with resolutions of up to 1080/60p.
